Winter Frost - a tranquil Santa Claus dressed in blue tones with wispy silver and white embellishments from head to toe. Two warm Christmas scenes decorate both the frot and back of this 15 inch wooden Santa. He has a detailed staff in one hand and a small Christmas tree in the other. This Russian Santa Claus made for Reasons to Believe is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime. Once carved and sanded the Santa is meticulously hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed or initialed by the artist.
